If you let us know at the time you make your reservations, our store manager and gourmet cook, Lona, will be happy to prepare and pack a lunch for you. She will probably begin with good old Arkansas apples. She makes terrific homemade apple pies! Her sandwiches are made with sliced ham and cheese smoked in Northwest Arkansas, piled between thick slices of her homemade bread.
After
preparing your lunch, she will carefully pack it in waterproof containers
that can be stowed in the canoe along with a cooler of cold drinks. You'll
be surprised how hungry the great outdoors will make you, so plan for
ample supplies.
